Results on Alfresco’s move to GPL
As you will probably know, few months ago Alfresco released 100% of its software under the GPL. In yesterday’s post I commented on Matt Asay’s presentation at Open Tuesday, where he explained the results they got two months after their bold move. Their idea was simply to attract outside developers to the project but they got much more than expected:

- Downloads up 100%
- Registered developers up 100%
- Leads up 200%
